Terms of Service

Welcome to Relyo ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", "our"). Relyo is operated independently as a bot and server listing platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Relyo, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country of residence, whichever is higher. If you are under 18 (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using Relyo, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

2. Account Registration

Relyo uses third-party authentication (Discord, Reddit). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your linked accounts. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting listings
  • Not share your account or authentication tokens with others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, rate limits, or voting restrictions

3. User-Submitted Content

You may submit bot listings, server listings, reviews, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant Relyo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your User Content on the Platform.

You agree not to submit User Content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or harmful code
  • Is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
  • Contains sexually explicit content involving minors
  • Promotes illegal activities

4. Bot and Server Listings

All submitted bots and servers are subject to review and approval by our moderation team. We reserve the right to deny, remove, or delist any submission at our sole discretion, including but not limited to submissions that violate these Terms, our content guidelines, or applicable law.

Bot and server owners are responsible for ensuring their listings remain accurate and up to date. Listings that become inactive or inaccessible may be automatically delisted.

5. Voting and Reviews

Relyo provides a voting and review system. You agree to:

  • Vote honestly and not manipulate vote counts through automated means, multiple accounts, or vote trading
  • Write genuine reviews based on your actual experience
  • Not solicit votes or reviews in exchange for compensation

We employ fraud detection systems. Votes deemed fraudulent may be silently discarded or result in account restrictions.

6. Virtual Currency (Relay)

Relyo may offer a virtual currency ("Relay") that can be purchased with real money and used for platform features such as boosting listings. Relay:

  • Have no real-world monetary value outside the Platform
  • Are non-transferable between users unless explicitly supported
  • May not be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services outside the Platform
  • Are subject to our Refund Policy

7. API Usage

Relyo provides an API for programmatic access to platform data. API keys are personal and non-transferable. You agree to:

  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas
  • Not use the API to scrape, mirror, or replicate the Platform
  • Not use the API for any purpose that violates these Terms
  • Attribute data sourced from Relyo in your applications

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) in a manner that degrades service quality
  • Circumvent any security, rate-limiting, or access control mechanisms
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Collect personal data of other users without their consent

9. Intellectual Property

The Relyo name, logo, design, and source code are the property of the Platform operator. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. Reddit is a trademark of Reddit Inc. Relyo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc. or Reddit Inc.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall survive.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RELYO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to Relyo in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence shall apply to the extent they provide greater protection. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
