Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Relyo (the "Platform") uses cookies and similar technologies. Read it alongside the Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and enable essential functionality.

2. Cookies Relyo Uses

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled. No consent is required for these cookies under EU ePrivacy regulations.

CookiePurposeDuration
relyo_access_tokenKeeps you logged in during your current session15 minutes
relyo_refresh_tokenRemembers your login so you don't have to sign in every visit7 days

Both are httpOnly and SameSite=Lax, so no script on the page can read them. Relyo sets no cookie for cross-site request protection. That check is a request header, not stored on your device.

2.2 Preferences stored in your browser

Two settings are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. They are never sent to the server, they have no expiry date, and clearing your browser data removes them.

KeyPurposeDuration
relyo_themeLight or dark appearanceUntil you clear it
relyo_cookie_consentRecords your cookie consent choiceUntil you clear it

2.3 Analytics Cookies (Accept All only)

Choosing Accept all on the cookie banner loads Google Analytics (GA4) to measure aggregate usage of the Platform. These cookies are set only with your explicit consent and are never used for advertising or individual profiling.

CookiePurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Analytics: distinguishes users2 years
_ga_*Google Analytics: session state2 years

Relyo does not use advertising networks, Facebook Pixel, or any individual tracking service.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Relyo does not set third-party cookies. When you interact with external services through the Platform (clicking a Discord invite link, making a payment), those services may set their own cookies. Refer to their respective privacy and cookie policies:

  • Discord: discord.com/privacy
  • Stripe: stripe.com/privacy
  • PayPal: paypal.com/privacy

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies are stored
  • Delete specific or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all sites
  • Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies

Disabling strictly necessary cookies prevents you from logging in and using authenticated features of the Platform.

5. Updates to This Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated. Changes are posted on this page with an updated revision date.
